About Us:

The Louisiana Prayer Institute is a non-denominational Christian institution that is dedicated to prayer and intercession.   This non-profit [501(c)(3)] institution serves as a spiritual outlet to provide instruction for effective prayer to the general public in a comfortable classroom setting.  This institute serves as a place for learning and demonstrating the  principles of spiritual  renewal through prayer.

This institute was founded in 2007 as a God-ordained vehicle to address the critical needs in today's unsettle
d local and world environments and to bridge the gap between mainline seminary focus and power for victorious living.  Our curriculum is designed to equip 21st century believers for the spiritual challenges that exist within our world.  In addition, this organization serves as a point of contact to communicate the plans and strategies of God and of intervention in the strategies of Satan

Statement Of Belief:

We believe in God, the Father Almighty, creator of heaven and earth.  We believe in Jesus Christ, his only Son our Lord.  We believe that Jesus was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of a virgin named Mary.  We believe that Jesus was crucified on the cross for the sins of mankind and three days later he was resurrected from the dead, ascended into heaven and is now seated at the right hand of the Father.  We believe that Jesus is the only means of eternal salvation for mankind and that salvation is available to all that repent of their sins and believe in Him as Lord and Saviour.  We believe that the Holy Spirit is the divine presence in our lives.  It is by the Holy Bible (the inspired Word of God) and the Holy Spirit that we are kept in perpetual remembrance of the truth of Jesus Christ.  It is through the Holy Spirit that we receive power, strength and help in our times of need.
We believe in the five-fold ministry of apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors and teachers and that they are required for the work of Christian ministry in the tradition of the apostolic church model.
We believe in divine healing and deliverance and that these signs will be evident in the lives of Christians and are necessary for spiritual wholeness.
We believe in the operational role of the nine spiritual gifts of the Holy Spirit and that these gifts are not only relevant but are given to believers as a means of aiding the entire church of God.
We believe that the promises of Jesus for all believers are not only relevant for his 21st century church, but truly reflect its character.
We believe that the 'true' church of God is characterized not only by the works that Jesus did but even greater works because Jesus is with the Father and interceding on our behalf. (John 14:12)
We believe that prayer is the ordained vehicle instituted by God for His church to effect His will on earth and that all Christians are called to be intercessors to effect world change.

Our Goals:

-  To better equip Christians for the ministry of intercessory prayer
    and 21st century spiritual warfare
(Ephesians 6:12).

-  To bridge existing divisions within the Christian body
    (John 17:21-23).

-  To provide ‘spiritual entrance keys’ to God’s domain on earth
    (Psalm 91).

-  To bridge the gap between mainline seminary focus and power for
    victorious living (1 John 5:4).

-  To develop spiritual leaders and Christian educators for the
    growing
demands among the Christian body of
believers
    (Acts 5:25, Colossians 3:16).

-  To generate within the body of Christian believers the true power
of God through the operational role
of the Holy Spirit in their daily
    lives (1 John 4:13).
